TODAY'S WORD for the SAINTS
from Bishop Zachary Kakobe, the General Overseer (G.O) of the Full Gospel Bible Fellowship Church
HEBREWS
10:26-29, "For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge
of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a
certain fearful expectation of judgement, and fiery indignation which
will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies
without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much
worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has
trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by
which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of
grace?"http://www.bishopzacharykakobe.org

SATAN IS THE BIGGEST LOSER IN ALL OF HISTORY!
BZK's Today's Word Especially For You!
SATAN IS THE BIGGEST LOSER IN ALL OF HISTORY!
The great dragon, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, is
the biggest loser in all of history! No matter how hard he tries, he
turns out to be the greatest loser in any battle against God and His
people. He started as a big loser, he is still a great loser as he
always has been, and he will end up a total loser! We know from the
Bible that, on the first attempt, he waged war against God in heaven,
and he suffered a total and humiliating defeat. In fact, God was too
powerful for the Devil, so He assigned Michael and his angels, the task
of fighting off Satan. Can you imagine a heavyweight man (91kg or 200
lbs), fighting a pinweight woman (45.8kg or 100.8 lbs); in a boxing
contest? That cannot be an evenly matched and fair fight! However, do
you happen to know what took place?
Although God decided to use Michael instead, the Devil had the most humiliating night of his life after suffering a whitewash crushing defeat; as recorded in REVELATION 12:7-9, "And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, BUT THEY DID NOT PREVAIL, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, WHO DECEIVES THE WHOLE WORLD; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." He did not prevail! Satan is a defeated foe, a big loser, a wicked spirit; he only deceives the whole world into thinking that he can outwit God and His people, yet he can only act as the LORD permits.
I repeat once again, the Devil did not prevail! And this was just the beginning of an extraordinarily long series of failures! In the Bible, one Book after the other, from GENESIS to REVELATION; we find an account of the series of his failures. So, where do we start? In GENESIS 14:8-12, Satan and his agents tried so hard to fight, and took Lot, Abram's brother's son who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods and departed. But you know what, he did not prevail against Abram who trusted in the LORD and whose hope was the LORD. In the following verses, from GENESIS 14:14-17, the Bible says, Abram fielded 318 fighting men from among his servants and went in pursuit as far as Dan, and attacked their big army; and brought back all the goods and also brought back his brother Lot and his goods, as well as the women and the people.
And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Moses who defeated the super power of his days, the Egyptian Army; and forced Pharaoh, King of Egypt to let the children of Israel go out of his land; despite the fact that Moses had no army! What shall I say of Elijah who had total conviction in his heart that Satan is the best loser and henceforth mocked the Baal's (the Devil's) prophets and said to them, "Cry aloud, for he is a god; either he is meditating, or he is busy, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is sleeping and must be awakened." In this case, once again Elijah who trusted in the LORD and whose hope was the LORD, won the battle and the Devil suffered another humiliating defeat (1 KINGS 18:1-40). Moreover, do you remember in the Book of JOB, how hard the Devil tried to fight Job to the extent that, his enemies thought that Satan was the winner, this time? But what was the end result of the fight? Satan lost the battle again! The LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning and he lived 140 years more after the catastrophe on Job's property (JOB 42:10, 12-17).
Who was the winner in the fight between the Devil's agent, Nebuchadnezzar and God's people Shadrack, Meshack and Abed-Nego? Of Course, the God's people (DANIEL 3:1-30). What about the warfare between the son of the Devil, the enemy of righteousness, King Darius; and the prayer warrior Daniel? Who won the battle? Indeed, Daniel was more than a conqueror! (DANIEL 6:1-28). Space is not enough to write about Paul and Silas, and the story of Peter in ACTS chapter 12. To cut the story short, let us finish the series with John, the disciple whom Jesus loved; a brother and companion in the tribulation, who by the order of the Roman Emperor Domitian, was exiled to an island called Patmos (REVELATION 1:9), for the purpose of finishing him off; but against the expectation of the Devil, he was spiritually exalted in the island and received the visions of the Apocalypse (REVELATION 4:1-2) and later went back victoriously! Yes! The Devil started as a big loser, he is still a great loser as he always has been, and HE WILL END UP A TOTAL LOSER after his last fight with Jesus and His saints, whereby he will end up again in a total and humiliating defeat; after which he will be cast into the lake of fire and will be tormented day and night forever and ever (REVELATION 20:1-3, 7-10).
My beloved, blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD (JEREMIAH 17:7). What are you passing through? Is Satan all out to kill your marriage or destroy your ministry? Are you experiencing a battle so deep and overwhelming as if everything in your life is against you? Is the Devil all out to destroy your health, business, career, job, academic success or spiritual progress? My brother, my sister, just relax and sleep like Peter (ACTS 12:6)! The LORD will fight for you and you shall hold your peace (EXODUS 14:14). No matter how hard the Devil tries to ruin your life, he will eventually turn out to be the greatest loser! Only believe!
